Greyson Buckingham
Greyson co-founded DISA Technologies, Inc. in 2018 and currently serves as the CEO & President. A Wyoming-based technology company pioneering High-Pressure Slurry Ablation (HPSA) for mineral recovery and mine remediation. A military veteran, licensed attorney and former policy advisor, Greyson has led DISA from concept to national deployment, raising over $50 million and building a team of over 40 people. With degrees from Georgetown and the University of Wyoming, he brings deep expertise in energy, law and leadership, and remains committed to advancing U.S. energy security and environmental innovation from his home state. Greyson lives in Casper, Wyoming with his wife and two sons.
Marty Reed
Marty, a long-time Bay Area executive and investor, Marty Reed moved to Vancouver in 2015 to launch Evok Innovations, a novel approach to corporate innovation, that integrates Silicon Valley start-up culture and venture capital into existing R&D / innovation efforts. Marty leads the firm’s efforts on strategy, team building and investments. He serves on numerous boards, including Sanctuary AI, MineSense, DISA Technologies, Ekona Power and VEERUM. Prior to Evok, Marty was a Partner with The Roda Group, a San Francisco Bay Area based, early-stage venture capital firm focused on clean technology. In that capacity, Marty led investments and served on the board of directors for Svante, Axine, Gridtential and Carbon Neutral Ag Sciences. Prior to joining The Roda Group, Marty held senior leadership positions at Roda Group portfolio companies Cardstore.com (acquired by American Greetings), Game Ready (acquired by Avanos Medical) and Ask Jeeves (acquired by InterActiveCorp). Marty holds an MBA from John F. Kennedy University and a BSc in Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University, and began his career as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy.
Scott Saxberg
Scott Saxberg is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cache Island Corp., a private oil and gas producer. Scott has been involved in more than a dozen successful energy startups over the past 20 years including Crescent Point and Shelter Bay. Before founding Cache Island, Scott was a Co-Founder of Crescent Point Energy and was President and CEO of the company from 2003 to 2018. Under his direction, Crescent Point grew from 275 boe/day in 2001 to 180,000 boe/day by 2018. Through Scott’s tenure, the company became the sixth largest energy company in Canada, a S&P/TSX 60 listed company, and listed on the New York Stock exchange. The company distributed over $7.5 billion in dividends and reached a market capitalization of more than $18 billion.
In addition, Scott runs his family office, Icebook Investments Corp., that focuses on direct investments in early-stage startups. Icebook is currently invested in over 12 early-stage companies across a variety of industries including renewable energy, retail, communication, cannabis, e-gaming and fertility. He is a co-founder and board member of Odyssey Trust, the third largest financial Trust and Transfer agency in Canada.
Scott’s lifelong passion for hockey led him to become a co-owner of the NHL hockey team the Arizona Coyotes between 2013- 17. Along the way, Scott has received notable recognition, including being named as one of E&Y’s Top 40 Under 40, awarded the 2009 Producer of the Year in Oilweek magazine and named the 2011 Saskatchewan Oilman of the Year.
Ricardo Garib
Ricardo served as Division President of The Weir Group (aFTSE-100 organization) with nearly 10,000 employees across 80 countries. Over his 27-year tenure, including seven years as President of the Minerals Division, he achieved significant growth and global expansion. His accomplishments include leading mergers, process reengineering, and major acquisitions. He drove the company’s expansion into emerging markets in Central America, Africa, China, and Central Asia, as well as mature mining regions like Australia and the Americas. Under his leadership, the company doubled in size and became a global leader in its field.
Jeff Merrifield
The Honorable Jeffrey S. Merrifield, a former presidential appointee to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, is widely recognized as an international thought leader on nuclear power and the deployment of complex energy systems for the avoidance of carbon generation.
During his three decades of involvement in the energy industry, Jeff has developed wide-ranging relationships throughout the international nuclear community that allow him to identify strategic and legal solutions for major energy and environmental matters. He is considered a leader in advanced nuclear and fusion deployment and has assisted large and developing nuclear utilities, suppliers and governments in effectively meeting their regulatory requirements and strategic objectives regarding the deployment of complex energy systems. Jeff’s well-received corporate executive experience, as well as media and public speaking capabilities, also provide a significant resource for the advocacy of common-sense and cost-effective solutions.
Kelly Strong
Kelly has more than 30 years of underground and surface mining experience – which includes working internationally in gold, nickel, copper, zinc, phosphates, and potash operations. Prior to joining Mosaic, he was Vice President, Mining Operations at Nyrstar, Inc, a global multi-metals group. Before joining Nystar, he worked for Vale's nickel mining and metals division for more than 14 years – holding various management and leadership positions, including Vice President of Ontario and United Kingdom Operations.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in mining engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and is a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario. Over the years he’s been active on numerous industry committees and Board appointments.
Gregg Renkes
Gregg D. Renkes is the Senior Vice President for Government Relations at Chenega Corporation. In that capacity, he serves as an alternate on the boards of both the Alaska Native Village Corporation Association and the Native American Contractors Association. An attorney and member of the Alaska Bar for over 30 years, Mr. Renkes served in the U.S. Senate in various capacities including Chief of Staff for Senator Frank Murkowski (R-AK) and Majority Staff Director for the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources. Mr. Renkes was Alaska’s fifteenth Attorney General where he increased the focus at the Department of Law on prosecuting crime and protecting and developing the state’s energy resource wealth. He Co-Chaired, with the U.S. Attorney for Alaska, of the Alaska Rural Justice and Law Enforcement Commission. He also has served as a member of the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Trustee Council and the Alaska Permanent Fund Board, a public fund with assets exceeding $70 billion. At the U.S. Department of the Interior, Mr. Renkes held the positions of Administrative Judge on the Interior Board of Land Appeals, Senior Counselor to the Secretary and Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy. His private law practice focused on matters relating to energy, public land, Alaska Native, and Federal Indian law. He has also worked as general counsel and chief operating officer for a national commercial real estate development and management company with interests in military family housing, food logistics, and federal facility redevelopment. Mr. Renkes holds a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College, a Master of Forest Science from Yale University, and a Juris Doctor of Law from University of Colorado.
Paul Goranson
Paul is a 37-year veteran of the uranium industry, Paul has led some of the most respected companies in the field including enCore Energy Corp. and Energy Fuels Inc. A Professional Engineer and former President of the Uranium Producers of America and Wyoming Mining Association, Paul brings unmatched expertise in uranium mining, processing, and policy. His leadership and experience will be instrumental as DISA advances technologies to remediate legacy uranium mine waste and recover valuable resources for America’s energy future.
Deborah Peacock
Deborah is President/CEO at Peacock Law P.C. and an Independent Board Director for several companies (natural resources, battery materials and utilities). In her CEO role at Peacock Law (30 employees), Deborah has managed a highly successful business for 30 years. She provides legal and technology advice to an international clientele. Her particular expertise includes commercialization of innovative technologies, intellectual property, complex transactions, M&A, technology trends, regulatory and permitting. Her technology fields are mineral processing, mining/minerals, metallurgy and materials science, oil & gas, energy/utilities, alternative energy, battery materials, energy storage, water treatment, outer space, aerospace, and chemical and industrial processes/equipment.

John Lee
John Lee is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of DISA Technologies, where he leads company-wide operations, talent development, and strategic execution as the company brings its patented High-Pressure Slurry Ablation (HPSA) technology to market. Since co-founding DISA in 2018, he has helped grow the company from a startup to a 45+ person team and helped raise over $50M for the company. With an MBA from the University of Wyoming and a Ph.D. candidate at the University of British Columbia, John combines deep industry insight with a passion for scalable solutions that restore land, recover critical minerals, and create lasting impact. John lives in Casper with his wife and three children.
Kristin Walker
Kristin Walker serves as DISA's Chief External Affairs Officer, where she leads government affairs, policy strategy, communications and stakeholder engagement to advance deployment of DISA’s High-Pressure Slurry Ablation (HPSA) technology. Based in Jackson, Wyoming, Kristin brings over two decades of senior-level experience at the intersection of politics, public policy, and strategic communications. She previously served as Chief of Staff to U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis, overseeing five offices and a multi-million-dollar operations budget while driving policy and messaging on energy, natural resources, public lands, and digital innovation. Kristin has advised governors, senators, and members of Congress, and built a nationally recognized public affairs firm with a client portfolio spanning government, industry, and nonprofits. A graduate of the College of William & Mary, Kristin has deep roots in Wyoming and a proven track record of forging public-private partnerships that drive results. She serves as Co-Chair of the Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum Making History Network Wyoming Committee and on the board of the Louisa Swain Foundation and the Wyoming Council for Women.
Stephen Cohen
Stephen currently serves as the Chief Regulatory Affairs Officer at DISA, and is responsible for compliance with Federal and state radioactive materials regulations, occupational health and safety regulations, and other environmental regulations that govern the use of HPSA. His experience includes over 30 years characterizing and remediating hazardous and radioactive waste sites, regulating uranium mills, and consulting for the uranium mining and milling industry. Furthermore, Stephen served as the Mill Manager at the Cotter Uranium Mill in Canon City, Colorado, responsible for the decommissioning and environmental restoration of this facility. Stephen possesses a B.S. in Geology from the University of Maryland; a Certificate in Civil Engineering from Johns Hopkins University; and an M.S. in Geological Engineering from the University of Idaho. He also holds a Professional Geologist license (Pennsylvania, PG-000530-G) and holds certifications as a Certified Safety Professional, and a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager.
Brett Berg
Brett serves as the VP of Engineering for DISA. With over 20 years of experience in the minerals processing industry, he provides leadership and vision for the Engineering, Testing, and Research and Development teams to advance the scale-up and innovation of the HPSA technology. Prior to joining DISA, Brett worked in various operations and design engineering and management roles for Freeport McMoRan, CH2MHill, and Intrepid Potash for base metals and industrial minerals. He has been responsible for designing and implementing new process solutions from concept through construction and commissioning, increasing recoveries and lowering operating costs. Brett is the current Chairman of the Colorado Mineral Processing Division (MPD), a subsection of the Colorado Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration (SME). He has a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
Jay Shopsowitz
Jay serves as DISA’s VP of Corporate Development & Finance. With over 11 years of experience in investment banking and private equity, Jay is responsible for all aspects of DISA's financial strategy.
Prior to joining DISA, Jay was a Director on the investment banking team for TD Securities based in Vancouver. Prior to that Jay worked for Parallel49 Equity on the private equity team and BMO Capital Markets on the mining investment banking team. Jay has extensive experience in capital raising, mergers & acquisitions, capital markets strategy, and corporate strategy. Known for his strong analytical skills and deep understanding of markets, Jay has advised and executed on several high-profile complex transactions throughout his career with a particular focus on mining and technology.

Jay holds a bachelor of commerce degree from McGill University (honors).
Tim Lundquist
Tim serves as DISA’s Global Director of Sales - Mineral Processing (MP). With over 20 years of experience in the mineral processing industry, Tim brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success. He holds degrees in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Minnesota – Duluth, along with an Executive Leadership Certificate from the University of Utah. Tim’s journey began as a screen media assembler during college, and he has since progressed through a range of roles, including engineering, applications, product management, and sales leadership. Known for his deep expertise in full comminution circuits and his vision for integrating innovative solutions into existing operations, Tim has successfully led emerging technologies to market.
At DISA, Tim will spearhead global initiatives to identify projects that can leverage High Pressure Slurry Ablation (HPSA) technology, assist in their development, and ensure the successful integration of this equipment into mineral processing circuits.
Ryan Lance
Ryan is General Counsel at DISA and has the privilege of representing the company as its legal counsel. As DISA's lawyer, he advises the company and its leadership on regulatory, governance, personnel, litigation, permitting, and other legal matters. Most recently, Ryan worked as President and General Counsel of a large ranching and conservation operation spanning over 900,000 acres in central Wyoming. He was appointed Director of the Office of State Lands and Investments under former Governor Matt Mead and served as Deputy Chief of Staff, Endangered Species Act Policy Coordinator, and Natural Resources Policy Advisor to former Governor Dave Freudenthal. Ryan has significant experience in federal and state trust land management, planning, and permitting. Ryan serves on the Wyoming Business Council and Cheyenne LEADS boards of directors and various non-profit boards. Ryan and his wife have two sons and reside in Cheyenne, where they enjoy supporting the Wyoming Cowboys (B.S. 1998, J.D. 2001) and spending time in the mountains together.
Alicia Roberts
Alicia Roberts, SPHR, serves as DISA's Director of Human Resources, where she leads talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, training and development, and culture. She is a Casper native and accomplished HR executive with over 12 years of leadership experience across corporate, nonprofit, and startup sectors. Alicia is known for building people operations from the ground up driving transformational changes, reducing turnover, scaling workforces, and strengthening work culture. She obtained her bachelor's degree from the University of Wyoming and her master's degree from the University of Denver, both in music performance. Alicia is proud to be a Subject Matter Expert for the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI). Beyond her professional expertise, Alicia is a passionate musician and certified yoga instructor, deeply rooted in her Wyoming community through non-profit board service and is a member of Rotary.
Brook Kimber
Brook Kimber serves as DISA's Director of Supply Chain, showcasing her expertise in the procurement of materials and services, sourcing, contract negotiations, pricing agreements, logistic planning and inventory management. Brook is an individual who is interested in continuous professional development and has more than 18 years of experience working with start up companies. This has resulted in professional competency, particularly in supply chain and project management. She started her career on the exploration and production side in oil and gas. After that, she went on to start a midstream oil and gas company. Brook continued to work to align computing with the future of climate, bringing stranded energy resources through computation. Most recently, before coming to DISA, she managed battery energy storage solution projects to support solar and wind applications.
Nikolai Tikhonov, Ph.D
Nick is a mineral processing focused professional with strong expertise in business development, comminution, and process optimization. He combines a solid engineering background with a commercial mindset, allowing him to effectively connect technical solutions with customer objectives. Nick has supported and led projects for industrial operations worldwide, delivering practical improvements across crushing and grinding circuits. His experience spans equipment selection, process evaluation, and project execution, with a strong focus on delivering measurable value for clients. Nick works closely with customers across all project stages, helping teams achieve reliable, efficient, and sustainable outcomes in demanding operating environments.
Darren Love
Darren is the General Manager, Uranium Strategy at DISA, where he leads the strategy and execution of the company’s uranium remediation and recovery initiatives. Prior to DISA, he worked at Evok Innovations, an industrial innovation-focused venture capital fund investing in and supporting transformative technologies across heavy industries. Darren brings a strong alternative finance and business lens to complex industrial and infrastructure opportunities. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Finance from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia.
Dave Todaro
Dave Todaro serves as DISA’s Director of Geology where he is leading the characterization of mineral assets focusing on determining resource potential. He brings a strong foundation in underground/surface mining geology and resource classification to the team from his time spent in Nevada and Colorado. Prior to joining DISA, Dave oversaw Kinross Nevada production geology, and filled similar roles for both Aurcana Silver and Barrick Gold before that. His technical background focuses on drilling, production, reconciliation, and digital workflows. Dave holds a bachelors degree in Geology from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado.
Nick Proctor
Nick Proctor serves as DISA’s Director of Resources where he leads the commercialization and characterization of mineral assets at DISA Technologies, where he focuses on evaluating resource potential, determining asset value, and guiding strategic acquisition efforts. He brings a strong foundation in mineral economics along with extensive experience spanning project evaluation, valuation modeling, and business development. Prior to joining DISA, Nick led evaluation teams at Burgex Mining Consultants and supported major M&A and growth initiatives at Barrick Gold/Nevada Gold Mines. His background includes both technical assessment and direct transactional experience, giving him a balanced perspective on how geologic potential translates into commercial opportunity. Nick holds a master’s degree in Mineral & Energy Economics from the Colorado School of Mines.
Cristina Kliesen
Cristina Kliesen serves as DISA’s Controller, where she oversees DISA’s accounting, finance and reporting functions. With extensive accounting and finance experience in mining, prior to joining the DISA team, Cristina worked as the Controller for Energy Fuels, a US-based producer of uranium, and as the Controller for Jetti Resources, a copper extraction technology-driven company. Cristina graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance & Banking, and from the Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Masters in Professional Accountancy.
Andrew Halverson
Andrew Halverson serves as DISA’s Engineering Manager, where he leads research and development to further the technology readiness levels of HPSA, designs for a variety of project scales, and serves as the Radiation Safety Officer. Prior to joining the DISA team, Andrew worked as an operator for Genesis Alkali, a process engineering intern for the Sinclair Oil Refinery, and a research assistant for the electrical engineering department at the University of Wyoming where he conducted research on the optical properties of nanoparticles for use in solar cells. Attending the University of Wyoming under the full-ride academic Trustee’s Scholarship, Andrew graduated at the top of his class with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering with a minor in process controls. During his time at the University of Wyoming, Andrew held officer positions in both the engineering honors society of Tau Beta Pi and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers
Chase Dickinson
Chase serves as DISA’s Senior Process Engineer, bringing over a decade of experience in minerals processing to support the development and deployment of HPSA technology. Prior to joining DISA, he held a range of roles focused on mineral analysis and R&D, with an emphasis on extractive hydrometallurgy, flotation, and solid/liquid separations. Chase has contributed to projects across the entire processing flowsheet, from sample preparation and analytical method development to pilot plant operations and field deployment. His past work includes the development of an atmospheric leaching process for primary copper sulfides, implementation of core-logging automation tools, and scale-up of novel unit operations from bench to demonstration scale plants across the world. Chase holds a B.Sc. in Geology with a minor in Chemistry and an M.Sc. in Engineering and Technology Management. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and anything that gets him moving through the mountains - camping, climbing, skiing, and running - and loves sharing that passion with his wife and two sons.
Jordan Dick
Jordan Dick serves as DISA’s Technical Sales Manager - Mineral Processing at Disa Technologies, overseeing new testing campaigns in applications such as Copper-Molybdenum, Quartz, and Rare Earth Elements. Jordan received his B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology where he also was a team captain on the NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball team. Prior to joining DISA, Jordan worked as a Sales Engineer for an aluminum manufacturing company and worked as a Design Engineer/Sales Representative for an industrial insulation company.
Fred Eden
Fred serves as DISA’s Environmental Land Manager, responsible for managing land operations for mine reclamation. His responsibilities include determining ownership, developing and managing landowner relations, drafting agreements, initial site inspection, and preliminary sampling. He works closely with the legal, engineering, and regulatory components of our reclamation business. Prior to joining DISA, he was the Senior Manager Land-West for Peabody Energy, responsible for the management of land and leases at seven different mine sites in four states. Before joining Peabody, he was a Realty Specialist with the General Services Administration in Ft. Worth, Texas, and a Subject Matter Expert with Boeing in the field of Hyperspectral Imagery. He graduated from the University of Wyoming with a BS in Energy Resource Management & Development, with a concentration in Professional Land Management. He is also a proud 13-year Air Force Veteran. Fred is on the Industry Advisory Board for the UW School of Energy Resources – Professional Land Manager concentration. He is a Registered Landman with the American Association of Professional Landmen.
Alan Sisel
Alan serves as DISA’s Digital Remediation Supervisor, responsible for identifying sites to support remediation goals, conducting geospatial analyses, operational management of UAS program, and contributing to remote sensing initiatives. Before joining DISA, he served as Senior GIS Analyst and Digital Mine Supervisor at Stantec, where he managed reclamation efforts and oversaw GIS technology across numerous projects throughout the western United States. Prior to his role at Stantec, he worked as a Mine Engineer with Peabody Energy, where he managed mining and reclamation operations at the Rawhide Mine. He holds an M.Eng. in Geomatics Engineering and GIS from the University of Colorado-Denver, and a B.S. in Geology and Geophysics with a minor in GIS from the University of Wyoming. In his free time, Alan enjoys golfing, flyfishing, and DIY projects.
Amos Newberry
Amos Newberry serves as DISA’s Production Manager, managing procurement and inventory. Amos received his B.S. in Business Operation Management from the University of Idaho. Amos has worked for multiple manufacturing companies in procurement, planning, and production management roles.
Josh Yarger
Josh serves as DISA’s Operations Manager and is tasked with oversight of the day-to-day operations of active and upcoming projects, procurement and supply chain, fabrication and assembly, and bridging the gap between engineering/R&D and operations. Prior to joining DISA, Josh worked in both the Oil and Gas and the Renewable energy sectors in multiple leadership capacities, overseeing and directing large-scale teams and projects across the country. Josh is a born and raised Casper native that enjoys waterfowl hunting, and shed hunting.
Jed Moser
Jed Moser serves as a Senior Project Manager at DISA Technologies, supporting the development and execution of projects. He brings extensive experience from previous roles in project management, operations, and process engineering within the manufacturing sector. Jed holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah.
Daniel Cavins
Daniel Cavins serves as DISA’s Grants and External Affairs Manager, where he leads federal and state funding efforts and contributes to marketing and public relations strategy. He also builds relationships with stakeholders, government officials, and policymakers while monitoring relevant legislative and regulatory developments. Before joining DISA, he worked as a legislative aide and later as a development consultant helping organizations pursue and secure federal funding opportunities. He earned his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law and brings extensive experience in grants, compliance, and public policy. Outside of work, Daniel enjoys spending time outdoors and volunteering with community-based nonprofits.
Jose Ghivarello
Jose Ghivarello joins the DISA team as Regional Technical Sales Manager for LATAM, bringing more than 37 years of experience in the mining industry, primarily with Weir Minerals. Jose has held a range of leadership and technical roles across Latin America, including serving as Managing Director in Peru and supporting business activities in Argentina, Colombia, Panama, and the Dominican Republic. His background is centered in technical sales and process solutions, working closely with mining operations and EPC projects to improve performance and deliver practical value.
